For Parents

The key to successful parenting is to believe and never forget that "Parenting is difficult." It may seem easy at times, and some people may make it look easy, but good parenting takes savvy, energy, persistence, patience, and support. Anyone who tells you being a parent is easy isn't telling you the whole truth and isn't telling you what they're comparing it to.

Nonetheless, in families scarred by anger, frustration, disrespect, or the excessive challenges created by our mass media, one determined parent can create a space in the family for love and understanding.
